Winetopia 2025 Wrap-Up

Our 10^th edition of Winetopia Auckland went off with a bang and what a milestone it was!

After a decade of swirling, sipping, and celebrating New Zealand’s finest wines, this year’s Winetopia was a true evolution of the experience our attendees have come to adore. With over 50 of the country’s top wineries, live music, special guests, and premium tasting lounges, we set out to make this year’s celebration our most dynamic yet and the energy in the room said it all. 

We’re always looking for ways to innovate, surprise, and delight. This year, Winetopia introduced a series of fresh features that brought even more flavour to the event experience: 

Food & Wine Pairing Showcases  

Our Main Stage hosted delicious collaborations between acclaimed local restaurants and New Zealand winemakers, spotlighting perfect pairings and flavour storytelling that left taste buds buzzing. 

10th Anniversary Prize Pool & Spot Prizes

From surprise giveaways to major draws, our 10th birthday celebration came with plenty of treats for our guests — just our way of saying thank you for a decade of love and loyalty. 

Taste of the Moana

A standout addition to this year’s line-up, Taste of the Moana was a seafood-led dining experience crafted by Kārena and Kasey Bird, celebrating kai Māori and the stories of the moana. Paired with wines from Tohu Wines, the world’s first Māori-owned winery, this session beautifully wove together culture, cuisine, and sustainability, earning glowing reviews from attendees. 

The Winetopia App – Our Digital Debut

This year also marked the launch of the official Winetopia App, designed to help guests explore wineries, rate their tastings, and keep track of new favourites to take home.
