Delicious Food by Top Restaurants For Winetopia Wellington

Visitors to Winetopia Wellington this year from 7 - 8 June at TSB Arena will will find a new dining area serviced by some of Wellington’s top chefs.

Cooking up their signature dishes, the line-up consists of Apache Restaurant, Rosella Wine Bar and Glou Glou. The dishes will all be typically $10 - $20 each. To top it off, French deli Le Marche Francais will be onsite with cheese platters and charcuterie. With Winetopia Wellington open during dinner time on Friday, lunch and dinner on Saturday, attendees will now have plenty of food options to choose from.


APACHE has been punching out flavour explosions for 10 years in Wellington central. They remain true to their modern take on popular Northern Vietnamese hawker street food, with a touch of French influence. Using Angus beef, free range pork, chicken and eggs, their menu balances the 5 fundamental Vietnamese flavours: spicy, sour, bitter, salty and sweet.


On the Apache menu for Winetopia, there will be Bao Buns with fried chicken, kaffir lime, 5 spice and firecracker, the Salmon Parcels with dill, coriander and yuzu soy and Dumplings made from porks & prawn, ginger, green onion, liquid kimchi.



Rosella Wine Bar – the wonderful new sister restaurant of Koji (also on Majoribanks Street in Mt Victoria) has a menu inspired by the Mediterranean, Middle East and North Africa. Visitors to Winetopia can try several of their signature dishes including the Kingfish Crudo with preserved lemon and chardonnay sauce vierge. There will be Oysters on the menu and a knowledgable team to make pairing suggestions.



Glou Glou is the new Espresso & Wine Bar on Allen Street from the team at Food Envy who are no stranger to events, often preparing special menus for weddings and special occasions. Dishes being served at Winetopia include their Pulled Pork Doughnut and the Panisses, Taramasalata with Caviar. While their pastries have quickly developed a cult following, the wine bar side of the offering has yet to launch and the team will be at Winetopia trialing dishes that are to appear on the menu. Nobody knows cheese like the French. And so it seems only fitting that New Zealand's largest wine tasting event should have some delectable cheeses from the professionals! The team at Le Marche Francais will be back at Winetopia Wellington to provide you with all of the fromage you could desire.


Visitors to the Amercian Express Premium Lounge will also be able to sample some dairy goodness from The Cheese Wheel and yes, there will be chocolate courtesy of the artisans at Foundry Chocolate.
