​1) What is Into The Vines?
A boutique open-air festival celebrating New Zealand wine, food, music, and discovery: your backstage pass into wine country.

2) When and where is the event?
Date: Saturday 28 February 2026
Wet Weather Day: Sunday 1 March 2026
Time: 1pm–7pm (Doors 12pm)
Location: Sculptureum, Matakana

3) What tickets are available?

General Admission – $85: Full-day festival access, tastings, pop-ups, music, festival glass to use for the day

VIP – $285: All GA Ticket inclusions + Garden Lounge Marquee with Bar (cards accepted), Rothko Matakana Food & Wine Experience, welcome drink, private bathrooms, Spiegelau Winetopia glass to use and to keep, and complimentary bites and Alto Ego non-alc cocktail.​

Kids 6–14 – $15 | 5 and Under – Free

4) Are children allowed?
Yes! Kids 6–14 require a ticket, under 5 enter free. Kids tickets are entry-only; Garden Lounge Experience is adult-only.

5) Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No outside food or drinks allowed. A range of food stations, local restaurants, and bars are available on site.
​
6) What should I wear?
Premium yet playful outdoor festival attire. Comfortable shoes, hats, sunscreen, and a light jacket for cooler weather are recommended.
7) What happens if it rains?
A wet weather day is scheduled for Sunday 1 March. No refunds.

8) Are pets allowed?
Only service animals are permitted.
​
9) Can I buy tickets at the door?
Online pre-purchase is recommended. Limited tickets may be available at the door, subject to availability.
10) Can I upgrade my ticket on the day?
Upgrades are subject to availability. Book your preferred experience in advance for guaranteed access.

11) Are dietary requirements accommodated?
Yes! Notify us during ticket purchase to ensure your Rothko Food & Wine Experience meets your needs.

12) Can I celebrate a special occasion or bring a group?
Yes! Into The Vines is perfect for birthdays, special celebrations, and group outings. The Garden Lounge Experience offers a premium space for groups.

ACCESSIBILITY​
13) Is the venue accesible?
Sculptureum has 1.4km of flat, accessible pathways, making it easy to navigate for wheelchairs and strollers. Note: Some tight turns in the internal galleries and Palm Garden may be difficult for larger powered wheelchairs.
Need a wheelchair? Sculptureum has a limited number available for guests, please request one at the time of booking to ensure availability.
CAR PARKING & BUS TRANSPORT

14) Parking
Limited free parking is available onsite at Sculptureum. We recommend pre-booking a return bus service to ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival.

We are pleased to offer convenient return bus options from several key locations. All services operate on Saturday 28 February. Book through ticket platform here.
