We are always working to bring you the next great event. But like you, we are deeply unsettled by the invasion of Ukraine and the plight of the Ukrainian people who only a week ago were living normal lives not too dissimilar to our own. Now families are sheltering in their homes from tanks, bombs and artillery and the impacts will be felt for generations. As a team, we wanted to do something to show solidarity, so we are doing this.
For the next 2 weeks we are pledging 20% of ticket sales for Winetopia presented by Singapore Airlines to the Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. This will apply to all ticket sales from 4 – 18 March 2022.
This may well be a small gesture in the grand scheme of things. But if we can collectively make some noise from the other side of the world to denounce this unlawful invasion, show solidarity with the affected and send some financial support, then perhaps it can help, just a little bit. If everyone around the world does a little in their own way, this can amount to a lot.
