Winetopia represents a significant promotion for New Zealand Wine in the North Islands two largest cities. With a high profile marketing campaign commencing in March, thousands of wines lovers and vino curious make an annual pilgrimage to the biggest collection of pop-up cellar doors from around the country
Starting in 2016 as a proud showcase of our wine scene, Winetopia has become New Zealand’s largest annual wine tasting event series, engaging thousands of consumers and trade each year.
Accompanied by an expansive five month marketing & PR campaign, our goal is clear. At a time where domestic wine consumption is on the decline, Winetopia is more than an event, it’s a voice with a unified message: New Zealand wine is amongst the best the world has to offer and an industry we should all take pride in being a part of and supporting. Under the Winetopia roof, visitors can meet pioneers of the scene, develop real relationships with our best wineries and, of course, experience wine that has literally put New Zealand on the map.
